Kenzie's first meal

As many of you know I have felt extremely excited to be able to breastfeed Kenzie and not require pumping on a daily basis. Also, both of my other girls would be given a bottle right before sleeping, of formula, to help them sleep through the night. Well, Kenzie has shown me many times that all children are not the same. Not only did she not take a bottle right before bed, she would projectile vomit. I gave up trying that really quick. So, we have been nursing ever since for all feedings and she sleeps through the night just fine. Then, I began to realize that she was just not very happy throughout the day. So, I decided to try begin feeding her a bottle instead of me at the 6 pm feeding. Since I was doing that I thought what the hey, let's start some rice cereal too. So, here are some pics of Kenzie trying out rice cereal. Which by the way I did not have any bibs available and the high chair is packed still. So, we used her bouncy and a burp rag and things went really well until............
Alexa had to help out taking the pictures until I couldn't handle it anymore and I took over. I am soooooo out of control with being perfect.

Now that I have you listening..... Things were going well until Alexa decided to try to get a better view of what was going on. As she was climbing onto the table she began to fall and placed her hand into her chicken noodle soup bowl.. Yep-you guessed it-it flew everywhere. I wish I had taken a picture. She was covered in it. So, I had to leave Kenzie and shower Alexa before she left for school. Lesson learned-don't ask a five year old to help when food is around. Oh well!

Kenzie is SO CUTE! She really is beautiful! I bet it's so fun to have a little one around! I'm sad you aren't here because I want to hold her! All of you with new babies moved away!!!! :( How's Idaho? How's the house? Has it snowed a lot yet?
