She has come and gone but we have many pics to remember the fun we had. My great friend Shawna flew in from Washington with her two girls. They stayed for the weekend and then went back home. The girls have been counting down the days when Sammy would be here. They had their days packed with fun and more fun! Shawna decided to rent a car and drive up from Salt Lake. When they got here we had dinner waiting and ready. Stacey and Sam came over too with their two boys. We had tacos and talked and talked and talked. The girls played and prepared their beds for the sleepover.
The next morning they hung out and we talked some more. We decided to drive to Idaho Falls and hang out at the mall. Stacey came along with her two boys and there were smiles all around as they played.
Afterwards we went out to lunch and then came home to hang out and just be together. We had a birthday celebration for all the birthdays that had come and gone. We put three candles on the cake and all three girls blew them out. Then, they opened their presents. What fun!!
The girls loved the idea that they got to take a shower/bath together. I have to admit that they are getting a little too big to fit but they enjoyed it anyway.
The next day, I got sick with the flu---bummer. Luckily, Shawna and Stacey were feeling just fine. They took the girls out to lunch and then Shawna took Cora, Alexa, and Sammy to a movie, "Bedtime Stories". They loved it! Afterwards they came back home and picked me up. Just us older women went out to dinner for Sushi. Well, Stacey and Shawna ate but I just watched them. :) We went back to my place and Shawna and I watched one of our favorite movies "Bride and Prejudice". I love that movie! The last day the girls hung out and played and made a picture frame to remind them of what best friends are for.
Kenzie and Claire even got to know each other a little bit.
Thanks girls for the great time. We miss you and can't wait to see you in Cali in July!

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that I read your blog all the time, eventhough I hardly ever comment.
I can't believe how much Cora looks like you, and more every picture.
