Here is Alexa in my jacket and Kenzie in Cora's hat, lovin' the cold but sunny day.
Alexa found out she can fit inside a bucket---don't ask.
We had a visit from Grandpa and Grandma Akes.
Mother's Day was packed into two days due to Ken having to work. Saturday, the girls and Ken made up a menu for dinner that was just what I like, steak, shrimp kabobs, corn on the cob, baked potato, salad, and milk to drink. Since we had such beautiful weather the girls wanted to sit outside and have a picnic.
For desert each person decided what my favorite desert was and made it. So, we had smores, strawberry shortcake, and ice cream brownie sundaes. It took me awhile to have each one but I did it! YUM!!!Sunday we took a trip to Shashone Falls. It was a perfect time to go since the water levels are so high. On our way we stopped and took in the beautiful views of Idaho.
It was beautiful! We were sad to leave the puppy behind but my hands were pretty full. Thanks Amber and Delton for letting us join in on your Mother's Day fun.
Happy Mother's Day everyone!
